my daughter is 18 months and her soft spot has not closed.Is ther a problem.Pediatrician said it should close.

Her pediatrician said she should be running,putting words together, and be able to climb stairs. She has just now started to walk well on her own. Is there a problem because she is behind in this stuff.

My soft spot never fully grew over. It hasn’t caused any issues for me unless I bump that spot then a migraine ensues. My development was never hindered because of it though. Perhaps you should get her into a pediatrician who can better evaluate her. Also, remember that all kids develop at different stages, but I am not a expert. I would seek professional advise to ensure there is nothing seriously wrong.
