My 4g plug wont fit in my earlobe even though my 4g tapper fits perfectly?
its driving me insane, and I need the plugs in for school tomorrow.
The taper goes all the way through, and there about the same size,
If anything the plug is smaller
Sounds like the taper is only going through because it is tapered (maybe that was too obvious of a statement.. sorry), so that probably means the hole isn’t big enough- which is natural since it is a fresh stretch (I’ve had sort of a similar problem where after using the taper I had to struggle with the plug) SO what I do is lube that shit up. Put some baby oil or whatever skin moisturizer you’ve got around and put it in the hole and on the jewelry.
If that doesn’t work then leave the taper in for the day and play with it a lot until the hole has stretched enough that it isn’t going to shrink back so easy.
Sorry my terms aren’t so technical and a professional piercer might have somethings to add, but lube lube lube.
Oh and no silicone! And I agree with the previous answer that the acrylics are not recommended especially for a stretch but I’ve done it and it’s worked though most recently (for 7/16g) my left ear was irritated for the first few days. So if you fear that you might rip a little then get titanium.
